RE: ACC gets Three #1 Seeds
NC State played 10 games against the Committee's top 25 and went 9-1, 0-5 against the top 3.

Obviously Auburn is not worth a ****.

I love how the Committee lumps 5 games with the top 3 the same as 5 games against 35, 40, 48, 44, 50

Duke's Kevin White was Deputy Chair of the Committee - next year he will run it. I guess the ACC will only get 4-5 schools in next year.

SEC takes care of it's own. ESPN takes care of the SEC

ACC has neither of those.

I have been saying this since the brackets were announced. The Selection Committee justified giving The ACC 3 Number 1 seeds by theorizing that the conference was top heavy. All in spite of their so-called Net Rankings.

I have no respect for the underhanded BS that happens every year with the committee. When are we going to go to a computer picking the teams instead of the committee pissing on us and telling us it’s raining each Selection Sunday.

How did the committee pick in the 80’s? Was there even a selection Sunday show? It looks like teams used to make geographical sense for the region back then. I feel like the sites made regional sense into the 90’s, but now they’re all over the place.

Regional seeding was used up to the early 70's. That's why UCLA always got to play to games at home for 12 years or so. In 1975 they added a potential second team. By the early 80's they had a more general expansion and it was conference champions plus who the committee liked. No metrics

ACC gets 5 into the sweet 16, including all Number 1 seeds.
