In a 20 min game, UC is every bit as good as Houston.

Extend it to 40 min and that’s where Houston and more talented scoring options starts to really shine through.

I give Sampson credit he forces the officials to sack up and call fouls

most swallow the whistle

if they get a tight whistle in tourney they better shoot well

Certainly was the case in the first two meetings. We have a little more depth than Cincy. That said, we're not nearly as good when the shots aren't falling, and today is one of those days. May just come down to which team wants it more.

Most officials dont swallow the whistle. This is maybe the 2nd or 3rd officiating crew that hasn't punished us for our style of play.

The Coogs have gotta take smarter shots. Work the ball around until you get a high-percentage shot. (Scoring some points in transition would help, too.)

Bruh. We all know the 3 point barrage is coming.

We’ve already left the corner 3 open all 1st half, it’s just today Hinton is shooting more like his average. Once that inevitably changes, a 6-7 point lead will be near impossible to come back from

Sometimes a team is just better then you.

I will have zero issues if UC loses as long as they play for 40 minutes and give it all they got. And just play smart.

Hinton hit 8 straight 3s in a span of 2 games...

Missed 6 straight on the last 2, most of them wide open

Corey also missing lots of shots he normally makes ....

Sucky thing is this is probably a meaningless game for UH. I think we're a 3 seed with either outcome. Basically just playing g for bragging rights.

Law of averages for Hinton.

I think his recent 3 point shooting has made him a little one dimensional offensively. He is shooting 3’s when he’s 6’6 with open driving lanes.

I dunno man. Houston would have gained 3 Tier 1 wins in its last 4 games. 7 tier 1 wins and only 2 losses Is a 2 seed to me.

Every bit as good of a resume as UC last year.

He's still young. His sweet spot is the 16-18 foot mid range jumper. He needs to learn to go to that a few times when the 3 ain't falling to get himself going. That's what the elite scorers do.

Houston may not be hitting most of their 3's but that's ok b/c is only a matter of time before Brooks, Hinton or Davis get hot.

In a perfect world, you'd be right. But the selection committee is another story.
