Jerry Palm who I really like, has them as a 10 seed this morning, even after Oregon's win last night. Not even in the 4 last in.

He seems to be high on the American all around with UC as a 5 and UCF as an 8.

I think they've been pretty safely in. Oregon may have bumped them from Last 4 Byes to the First Four tho.

RE: Temple
bracketmatrix.com has them as the last one in, essentially tied with St. John’s, Ohio State, and Arizona State.

Clemson, NC State, Belmont and Indiana first 4 our according to that.

Palm also has the entire league in one region. Would that be normal?

No. You won’t see more than 2 teams from the same conference in 1
Region.

That's not true. In 2014, we were a 4 bid league: Louisville, Memphis, UC, UCONN

Louisville was in the Midwest, but in the East we had:

5. UC
7. UCONN
8. Memphis

Ideally one in each Region would be perfect... I hope that Oregon's win doesn't lead to PAC-12 getting 3 teams in, that Conference is so overrated this year that they should only be a 1 bid Conference.

The AAC is a solid 4 bids right now and Memphis should be a play in and even Wichita State should get a look, but we all know that isn't going to be the case.

Washington may not get in, or Arizona St. Both have Memphis type resumes and Washington just got beat down.

Committee Chair is a PAC guy. They're absolutely getting at least 2 teams.

I fully believe Wichita is a tournament team right now just without the resume due to the early struggles. We would beat the PAC 12 teams

I have a very hard time believing any of those teams would finish in the top half of this conference.

Very realistic. Virtually no competition from other games so that the announcers can slobber over Dunphy before his last one and done.

Honest question: Why is Dunphy such a media-darling?

Modest, good guy, won at Penn and Temple. Hard for the media not to like him.

Second winningest big 5 coach in history, is one of like five coaches with over two hundred wins, at two programs. Are sort of stats that say he is good. Also it sounds like he was a popular player back in his hey day while in the city.

I know we're all fans and look at things with AAC glasses, but you guys are high if you think Oregon wouldn't have finished in the top half of this league. That team was built around Bol Bol, who they lost to a season ending injury pretty much at the end of OOC and they had to reinvent themselves on the fly. Their defense is pretty stout now. NET would have them 5th in the conference, and I wouldn't want to bet against them vs. anybody in the AAC not named Cincinnati or Houston.

One caution- Palm historically not a good bracketologist. Of the 125 guys rated on the Matrix, he was #82. Lunardi better at #68.

http://www.bracketmatrix.com/rankings.html

looking at the list-
#1 guy- has Temple as 4th team in
#2 guy- has Temple as 3rd team in.
#3 guy- has Temple as 2nd team in(he hasn't updated since yesterday, but factoring in Oregon- was 3rd so now 2nd)
#4 guy- has Temple as 3rd team in
#5 guy- hasn't updated since 14th
#6 guy- has Temple as 3rd team in
#7 guy- not doing it this year
#8 guy has Temple as 2nd team in
#9 guy- has Temple as last team in
#10 guy- has Temple as last team in

so pretty solid looking for Temple being in.

Oregon passed the 'eye test' last night if anybody was watching.
