Region.
Ideally one in each Region would be perfect... I hope that Oregon's win doesn't lead to PAC-12 getting 3 teams in, that Conference is so overrated this year that they should only be a 1 bid Conference.
The AAC is a solid 4 bids right now and Memphis should be a play in and even Wichita State should get a look, but we all know that isn't going to be the case.
I fully believe Wichita is a tournament team right now just without the resume due to the early struggles. We would beat the PAC 12 teams

I have a very hard time believing any of those teams would finish in the top half of this conference.
I know we're all fans and look at things with AAC glasses, but you guys are high if you think Oregon wouldn't have finished in the top half of this league. That team was built around Bol Bol, who they lost to a season ending injury pretty much at the end of OOC and they had to reinvent themselves on the fly. Their defense is pretty stout now. NET would have them 5th in the conference, and I wouldn't want to bet against them vs. anybody in the AAC not named Cincinnati or Houston.

They would've been comparable to Wichita. I've watched a lot of their games and have rooted for them all year because UH beat them but frankly they aren't that good.

Oregon passed the 'eye test' last night if anybody was watching.
who's eye? Their Coach? Don't thing anyone but friends and Family watched that game.

Yup - 4 of their first 6 after their 21 point/10 rebound team leader was lost for the season. They also finished on an 8 game winning streak, with 4 of those 8 against other teams in the tourney, two of which were by 20 or more. That's pretty good. I think the only AAC teams who could've done that are Cincinnati and Houston.

Lol two of those 'tourney' teams didn't belong in. All three could lose first round and we'll have another off season of how weak they are and then pundits slipping in three teams again come march. The only game the big east may win is the St. John's vs ASU.

I guess we'll see. I think Oregon has a real legit chance of reaching the Sweet 16.

And an even better chance to get bounced in the first round.

You're right - they totally suck.

I'm happy. It further legitimizes UH as we beat the better version of this team but nevertheless I definitely underestimated them.
