Big East Tournament: #1 Villanova defeats #3 Seton Hall 72-74
The seeds mostly hold in the B.E.T. In the tournament, 4 games came down to the last shot. "Cruella de' Villanova" wins the crown again. (Hide the Dalmatians!) 'Nova wins their 4th BET in the past 5 years (and was runner-up the other year).

Seton Hall has a great weekend. Their reward according to Lunardi- a 9 seed, and if they get by Washington in 1st round, Virginia.

You just wonder with how emotionally charged things was in MSG if the tank will be empty for them and some of the others.....

Yes, the Big East Tournament is still epic. Sold out 4/5 sessions and 99.7% of all available tickets:

Who cares? Conference attendance is a far more important predictor of long term strength than seeds in a given tournament.

The Big East was lucky to get 3 1/2 teams in, the conference was strong top to bottom but didn't have any elite teams. Nobody deserved better than a 5/6 seed.
