UB high is a 4. Low is a 6.
Being a 6 or a 5 will be pitted against a bubble team playing for their life.

Going to be tough regardless for any team in the 3-6 range. Mid major field sitting in 11-14 seed lines looks partucularly strong to me this year.

They won't be an 8. They'll be a 6 or 7.

Buffalo rates well in all of the measuring tools (KPI, SOR, BPI, POM, SAG) listed on the team sheet the committee uses, plus the Bulls have a winning record in Q1 games. The only negatives for Buffalo are not enough Q1 opportunities that could've boosted the profile, a Q3 loss, and missing out on another Q2 win after Toledo was upset in the MAC tourney. (The Bulls only got a Q3 win for beating BG in the title game.)

I think this would be enough for at least a 7 seed.

6 seed is arguably better than 5 or 4 as you avoid the 1 seed till E8

I'm going to guess they will be a 5 seed.
