Hockey East Quarterfinals
NU got an overtime goal from Austin Goldstein to beat Maine 2-1 at Matthews Arena Friday night.

NU leads the best-of-three series 1-0. Game 2 is Saturday night.

Cayden Primeau had 41 saves in the win. Tyler Madden put NU up 1-0 with his 11th goal of the season.

NU now has 24 wins!

NU advances to the Hockey East semifinals with another close 2-1 win over Maine at Matthews Arena.

NU jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Biagio Larario and Brandon Hawkins and held on for the win. Cayden Primeau made 33 saves.

NU will wait to see if they play BC or Providence at the Garden next week.

BC edged PC 4-3 in OT to force a 3rd and deciding game.
