Yeah, there was a big UB (!) crowd for the WBB semis earlier today.

I would think that UB will have a very big crowd tonight.

And just like that Buffalo explodes out to a 11-5 lead with 17:03. Hitting threes and just got a beautiful fast break dunk forcing CMU into a time out.

CMU has come to play, down 16-15 with 14-minutes left in first half. They look confident and are flying around the ball and attacking the basket.

TV timeout at 11:25 has Buffalo leading 18-15 in the first half. Chips are really running hard, hustling and getting good space, if their shots start to fall this could interesting in the second half. UB is shooting 58% thus far, CMU shooting 41%.

24-23 Central at the 7:59 mark. David Dilio leads the Chips with 8 points thus far while Davonte Jordan has 7 for the Bulls.

This is fast paced and fun game to watch. Central lacks size but seem to be running circles around UB so far.

Central's Kevin McKay is having an amazing game so far with ten points and four rebounds at the 3:25 time period. Chips lead 38-33 so far.

Quite the tanking by UB

At the 2:07 mark with Central leading 38-35 the Chips are now shooting 50% for the game, Buffalo shooting 47%. UB just 3-17 from beyond the arc so far, they need to use the significant size advantage and pound it inside. Central can't stop Nick Perkins in the paint.

some intereting halftime stats...Central lacks size but has attacked the basket with fervor and leads the points in the paint stat at 26-22

Only a total of six foul shots between the two teams, each with three, so the officials are letting them play.

Buffalo bench leads 11-5 over Central.

Amazing game so far as the Chips are just running and gunning and playing loose, lead UB 56-49 at the 15:48 point in the second half. Austin and McKay each have 12 so far with Roundtree adding eleven. Jordan has eleven for UB

Bulls are heating up now and certainly playing with a sense of urgency, now trail 63-59 at the 11:58 media break. The Bulls are in the bonus making 9-12 foul shots to just 2-5 for Central. If the Bulls continue to pound it inside with their size advantage they'll make win

Each team is shooting in the 50% range from the field for the game. UB bench outproducing Central so far 23-8

The Bulls are running now, trail just 68-67 at the 8:27 media break. UB really kicking up their defense and the crowd is getting into it now. Excellent atmosphere, splendid game so far.

Only thing keeping the score close is that Buffalo is just 5-27 from beyond the arc.

Bulls retake the lead and the place goes nuts. 72-70 UB at a time out with just 7:29 to play.

This is MACMadness at its best.

Central trails 74-72 with six minutes remaining but they are shooting just 4-11 from the foul line which is killing them.

Buffalo leads 76-74 with 3:33 remaining, what an awesome game. Give it up for the Chips who are bringing it and yes Buffalo is playing well too. Feels like two heavy prize fighters going toe to toe for 12 rounds.

Central gets absolutely screwed on a clearcut shot clock violation. 77-76 UB 2 to go.
