If so, we’ve got another announcement coming. Of course, I expect other announcements anyway for play by play and color announcers for the network as well as on air studio personnel. I would also expect announcement of some roles, perhaps limited in some cases, for people such as Bilas, Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg, Tommy Bowden, etc. I think there will be several press conferences.
By the way, I really want Dan Bonner and Mike Gminski doing basketball color on the ACC network. Who do the fans of the more football centric schools and the newer ACC schools want? I don’t mind Laphonso Ellis. Is he popular beyond Notre Dame fans? That’s where he played, isn’t it? Who else is there with ACC ties?
Sean McDonough went to Syracuse. So did Beth Mowins. Two professionals.
Danny Kanell played QB for FSU, does a nice job IMO.
Samantha Ponder went to Liberty, married a Seminole (Christian).
That's about all I can think of at the moment.
It would be nice if Bob Costas could come out of retirement and do a game a week for Football and Baseball.
There are a ton of Newhouse grads that can do these games (in front and behind the camera). It is the best school in the country for this...use them.

Any idea what this is about?
I would like to see the ACCN bring in Katie George as its sideline reporter. She is a U of L alumnus, volleyball player, Miss Kentucky & sports personality for WDRB & Louisville radio. She is currently the sideline reporter for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Louisville native has been with the station for over two years. She was a volleyball standout at Assumption High School and the University of Louisville.
George won two state championships and won Prep Volleyball's National Player of the Year in 2012. Following her standout senior year, she was named the 2015 ACC Player and Setter of the Year, as well as earning All-American honors.
She was also crowned Miss Kentucky USA in 2015 and placed in the top 11 at the Miss USA 2015 Pageant.

That'd be great, but I suspect she'd consider that a demotion over her current (semi-new) gig in the NBA.

Is she just a writer or also an on-camera reporter?
She co-hosts a podcast on SI. She is an ND grad.
I think that the network could find a use for her talents.
