Tickets for semis?
Any idea the best way to get tickets? Walk up? I've never been to the Q and certainly didn't expect both CMU's men and women in the semis. After the fees from the on-line places it gets pretty expensive for the mens games.

Akron, Kent and Ohio draw the biggest crowds and they're all gone. Getting a seat will not be hard to put it gently.

There are a lot of options if you want to avoid going online. If you want to pay full freight and support your school, Central will have a ticket office set up in the lobby of the arena. Schools are required to buy thousands of seats, so you're helping defray that cost.

There will likely be some scalpers around the arena - negotiate with them if you're OK with that.

Finally, the box office is open and a handy way of avoiding fees and talking through various seating options with a real person.

Good luck.

That is strange to say/hear, those traditionally strong programs are already out. We are doing this last minute so I think we'll do the box office. Thanks.

RE: Tickets for semis?
There are two good options that I'm aware of.

1) If you go in with a losing Ohio lottery ticket (even a $1 loser works), it's buy one get 1 free MAC tournament ticket.

2) Travelzoo offers discounted tickets. The 1st price is what they charge. The 2nd is what you'll be paying at the box office.

$13 (reg. $20) ... Lower Ends
$19 (reg. $30) ... Lower Corners
$24 (reg. $36) ... Arena Corners
$42 (reg. $54) ... Straights, Floor and Lower Club

Well, CMU women losing threw my plans for a loop. Maybe NCAAs now. I wasn't aware of the Ohio offers, thanks for the help.
