For the first time in a while I don't like our chances of winning a CUSA series but hopefully they prove me wrong

Our weekend rotation is the same as last weekend
Friday - Powell
Saturday - Powers
Sunday - Jackson

La Tech comes into the weekend with an 11-5 record. Their last game was a 7-0 home win on Tuesday vs Sam Houston St so they'll be plenty rested up

LHP Logan Robbins (1-0, 8.31 ERA, 17.1 IP, 16 K, 9 BB)
LHP Logan Bailey (1-2, 8.69 ERA, 19.2 IP, 22 K, 8 BB)

Tech comes in with a team batting avg of .281 to our .251
Pitching wise they have a 5.24 team ERA to our 3.12

La Tech's 4 OOC weekend opponents were: @Southeastern La (won all 3), Troy (lost 2 of 3), Arkansas St (won all 3) and @Arkansas (lost 2 of 3)
If we're gonna win this series our pitching is going to have to be spot on while out hitters break out of their funk

After a slow start to the season, Tech junior center fielder Parker Bates has boosted his average back over .300 (.302) and has taken back the team lead in RBI with 19. Bates is currently riding a 12-game hitting streak, the longest by a Bulldog this season.

Mason Mallard leads the Bulldogs with a .355 batting average on the strength of 22 base knocks. Mallard is slugging .500 and is reaching base at a .438 clip. The first baseman, who started every game in left field a year ago, has committed just one error in 121 chances at first.

There are some teams that wont make 10 errors in 2 months. Amazing we are discussing it happening in one series.

We have had warning track power all year. LA Tech’s bandbox of a field may be good for us to see. Though, it sounds like Wallner’s three run shot was a no doubter.

Blaylock is a Keating type player. He’s going to help us and is an upgrade over Franklin but he won’t save our season.

the 1-6 spots in the lineup could be dangerous as its drawn up tonight. putting hoard between slater and wallner means he should see a lot of fast balls. if he can hit the damn fast ball then could work out. blaylock behind wallner means wallner should see some better pitches to hit.

Hard to win with a guaranteed out in Cooper in the lineup. He even sucks at short.

Best part of playing at LaTech? The Ruston train, baby!
