Danny Kaspar named HoopsHD.com Coach of the Year for The Sun Belt Conference. Kaspar moved to #3 in all-time wins for Texas State this year.

I was about to ask who the conference coaches named, but it's still bittersweet for me and many UTA fans.

The only real joy I got out of this year was avenging our conference tournament loss a couple of years ago to the Bobs by both knocking them out of receiving votes in the top 25 AND knocking them out of a conference championship.

Maybe we can meet again in the tournament championship game.

We have a history of knocking you guys out of basketball and baseball conference tournaments.

Not sure I like either of our chances to get past the Georgia twins though at this point.

I may be a bit biased but I think Kaspar got snubbed. I know UTA wasnt supposed to be good but neither were we. UTA is normally a decent team, we arent. This was our best regular season in 20 years.

I absolutely hate the way we played down the stretch (our last 5), no "Killer Instinct" whatsoever.

Not sure what's going to show up in the Tournament, though I give Kaspar credit for having his teams ready to play come Tournament time.

That said, Would love to return the favor to Mav in the Tournament, and send them home to ponder the off-season.
