You keep saying we said he would be a bust. That's not what was said. It was that we weren't saying he was a success before even coaching a game. I'm sorry that reading comprehension is hard for you.

I'm still at that point. He didn't fail this year, but really didn't do anything special either. He rode 5 seniors to an NIT bid. Those seniors learned most everything from their previous coach and had the normal senior year jump. His guys (Harris, Lomax, and Jones) didn't really impress me. Harris was worse at the end of the year than the beginning. Lomax didn't do much, but did have a couple good games at the end. Jones started off great, then trailed off for much of the conference season, then seemed to start to come back.

Next year is his true test. Nearly the entire team will be his roster. If it wins big, you can call him a success and I'll agree.

You can call it "moving the goal posts if you want". Just means you don't understand the phrase.
