Is that in the AAC bylaws or just something you heard?

I saw an article where Aresco did an interview and was quoted as saying that.

As a CBI/CIT specialist, I can confirm.

I really hope that this isn't the case. I can see where/how Wichita State might not see value in going to the CBI, but I think USF would benefit from the added practice and games. It seems silly to me to have a by-law that says we as a conference will not our teams participate in a tournament that's been won by Pitt, Oregon and Tulsa within the last decade.

I know Aresco was quoted as saying that is league policy. Don't think it's a "bylaw," though. I think it is Aresco's edict, with the support of the presidents.

FWIW, this guys seems to think we'll be going to the CBI...

Unsure how he'd know we were "officially in" though.

Same guy saying we were going to the CIT. Dont believe he is an insider. Just a self-proclaimed bracketologist for the CBI & CIT.

Wouldnt put much stock in it yet.

I'm sending any school that accepts a CBI/CIT bid to the MVC. This is final.

Guess that means Memphis is in. There’s no single scenario that WSU would be invited and Memphis wouldn’t - season sweep, higher finish in league, better record, higher NET.

Unless we declined a bid

Unless we declined a bid

Hardaway already said we would accept a bid as we should.
