Any concern about no open offers? I agree that Huge put the staff in an untenable position but no offers in over 2 months is at least very odd.

This. I understand being in the tough position of being late to the game. But with no offers, you aren't even playing the game.

CAA MBB Transfers - 2019
I agree on no offers and am frustrated by the lack of action as well, but we all know that the admissions process and academic requirements at W&M are different and an impediment if you don’t know how to work the system. My guess is that it is a bit overwhelming vs the process and requirements these guys have experienced in other colleges.

By putting new coaches with no idea about the requirements in place late in the process is on the AD.

Tony and company had their best success in recruiting after they learned that working early with recruits and admissions paid the biggest dividends. That has been blown up.

A better thought out plan and execution at the proper time could have avoided some of this. Not letting the coaches off, but realizing that they in a bad place of someone else’s doing.

Coach Howland and grad transfer 6’4 Austin Vereen of VMI are following each other now. Vereen missed last year due to injury.

RE: CAA MBB Transfers - 2019
Coach Howland also following former Boston University 6’1 G Kyle Foreman. After his first two years at BU he left the team because he did not want to play anymore according to the below article:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/sportswtbu....-2018/amp/

Jeff Goodman tweeted in January:

“Former BU guard Kyle Foreman, who started a ton of games his first two years with the Terriers, told
@WatchStadium he will graduate and transfer. Was on the Patriot league all-Rookie team as a frosh.”

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/pla...man-1.html

I would think he has only one year of eligibility left since this would be his fifth year in college and the NCAA is not going to provide a 6th year waiver when he stopped playing on his own accord.

I assume he would have two years of eligibilty left.

Vereen visited Siena last weekend and is visiting Portland today.

SO 6’11 F Victor Uyaelunmo is transferring from USC to Towson. Older brother of Solomon. I assume a sit-one/play-two.

Coach Kemp liked a Connor Crabtree tweet. Crabtree announces his decision tomorrow and according to Twitter he has visited Richmond, Nevada, and Boise State so doesn’t appear the like is related to his transfer.

RE: CAA MBB Transfers - 2019
Are we entirely sure that summer school is the reason? This was Matt’s 4th year of school anyway and I also remember seeing somewhere that Pierce came in with AP credits similar to how Rowley did and this was always his plan. If summer school was the reason, more people would be graduating early - not just Pierce and Rowley. Whitman was a 4th year as well, just like Milon. Regardless, they are all our fellow alums and we should all wish them the best since they fulfilled their obligations to the College.

Milon a 4th year redshirt junior so graduating on time. Pierce paid for his summer classes on his own. Wish them the best.

That picture alone should be a reason the logo is a disaster. It has no business being in that picture.

Thompson to Tulane. Makes sense as he is from Louisiana.
