Sounds like a media walk through to get them familiar with the new coaches and show they'd like to play ball with the press despite having been recently roasted in it.

In other words, not very sexy but some important house cleaning.

RE: Q for Louisville fans
It’s the last day of Spring Football, and instead of splitting the team up per say 1A vs 2A for a game like most other places there will be a showcase of scrimmages instead. The new coaching staff prefers this time slot which I will agree is earlier than anyone else, but gives them more time in the weightroom conditioning and getting stronger for fall camp, and if by chance there is an injury more time to heal. It’s been awesome getting all this FB info etc in the thick of BB season. They have hosted a coup,e of high school clinics during Sprin Ball which the previous staff wouldn’t even consider, and has been a big success which will hopefully help on the recruiting trail down the road. Anyways I’m sure you guys will start Spring FB within the month or so, but we will be finished up hitting a the weights etc.

...almost 2 full weeks before Spring actually begins (on March 20th).

The early start help the players put last season behind them & get back to real football. The staff gets to see what they actually have & still has time to fill some holes. We’ll see how it works out.

It sounds encouraging. Lots of movement of positions, which could yield better results.

QB is a huge question mark. And O-Line play too. Defense can't get much worse than last year. Even minimal improvement would be huge.

But there's no way this team went from 8 and 9 win season talent, to 2 win talent in one season. The player mutiny was dramatic, and effective.
