RE: Game # 29 The Tigers
Yes, it looked precarious when we would win or lose based on free throws. Got to get that straightened out.

Milon shot terribly, including missing the front end of the one-and-one. His mother should have told him it was her birthday .....

I didn't think the defense was poor in the second half; rather, Towson was just unconscious from three (they hit 7-8 at one point). They had to return to normal sooner or later and, thankfully, they did.

Today's game was a preview of the nailbiters to come in the tournament.

We’re learning how to win we we’re not playing well. That’s a good thing, but now we need to play well in addition.

Got my tourney tickets in the mail today, I am stoked. It sure is nice that we do not have to win on Saturday in order to avoid first round play or having to play Charleston on Sunday.

FT's are the only thing separating us from being on level with the top three, and we are good enough shooters to change that the rest of the way.

Definitely looks like Tony is going with 7 guys. I guess we might see a couple more Saturday. Delaware is the opponent unless Drexel beats Northeastern and the Hens lose to Hofstra. Gutty win on a night where Matt struggled and the offense was slow to start. Was worried about Nate on that jump ball with 12 to go. Can someone pm me on what happened to Chase? He still played well tonight.

Don’t think that a pm is necessary as Coach mentioned in the post game show that it was a bit of a muscle pull.

Coach said on post game that Chase had strained muscle which limited him to 3-4 minutes of playing without a break. did not seemed too worried.

Harper was their leading scorer, but his field goal percentage is .389, and he shoots threes .247. Alihan Demir is better.

Game # 29 The Tigers
Just really proud of the resiliency, will to win, and togetherness of this team ... this team has grown so much over this year ... they have learned how to win, and often win while not playing their best... would love to see us win Saturday and go into next weekend on a 5 game win streak and who knows what will happen ... we have yet to play our best basketball either

RE: Game # 29 The Tigers
Huge Win! Only 8 TOs and only out rebounded by 5 against a Towson team that wants to play bully ball and make it an ugly game. Matt’s shot was off, but they were good shots, gotta keep shooting them and he did collect 7 rebounds which was big! Justin and Nate were both fantastic. Both scored and rebounded, but some of their assists were amazing (not too mention great catches by the cutters)! Paul, a couple of big shots to cut into lead in 1st half! In all, great efforts and leadership by the upperclassmen in a tough CAA road win!

RE: Game # 29 The Tigers
I have never seen a team successfully make some of the "at your feet through the defender" bounce passes to cutters that continue to be made by this team. The ability of our cutting players to look for it and to handle the low passes has been very unique.

Along the same line, Justin's length of the court bounce pass through traffic to Nate for a breakaway dunk, at the 7:40 mark of the 1st half, was phenomenal.

Very high degree of difficulty for many of these passes to be executed, both, giving and receiving. Plays that a coach is ready to scream for attempting, then can only say "great play" after the bucket.

That was highlight reel for sure, amazing! Loved the commentator after that play, simply said “Transition! Transition!”

And yes, great hands by many of the recipients of those passes. Teams is gelling, trusting each other. We look really good now!

RE: Game # 29 The Tigers
Terrific defense in the last four or so minutes on an off night offensively gave us a gutsy, well-deserved victory. Nate Knight was remarkable, as was Pierce and Audige. Have now won four in a row and six of last eight.

With 4/5 slot clinched I believe Tony will play some of the starters sparingly...perhaps give Audige the afternoon off to rest his slight leg muscle pull.

This has become a TEAM!

Why play the starters sparingly? I understand it doesn't have a big impact in seeding but they have a week to rest up. Keep the chemistry and rhythm that is working right now.

This is the best update for throwback names so far. Interesting that Milon passes Burch already and Loewe passing Tot & Brett Howell. I would have liked to have seen a sophomore Tot on this team.

Couple neat tidbits here, but as we all know, our freshman success has been almost unprecedented for us. Audige is only 61 points behind Marcus’ freshman year scoring (Marcus had 355 pts over 32 games. Chase is at 294 over 29 games).

LJ is only 4 points behind David Schneider’s freshman campaign. (Again, with less games).

Marcus and David had 2 of the most productive freshman years I’ve seen as a Tribe fan. The fact that 2 of our freshmen are tracking on par with these 2 guys is a great sign for the program.
