RE: Big East Tourney bracketology
This will be the first year where there will really be an open field for the tournament champion. With how Providence played last night, I would not be shocked to see them go on a run in NYC and make the championship game. Will be very entertaining.

The problem for Providence is like right now- they'd have to go on a UConn type of run....
Butler, then Villanova, then Seton Hall(or St John's), and then Marquette(or St John's). would need to get at least to Friday night to have any shot of getting into the NCAA.

Agreed, but league play has shown that not one team can really run through the rest. In the tournament, one team will. With how Providence played last night in the limited sample size, they could make a run - but who knows which team will make said run with how all of the teams have played in conference this season.

true but some paths are much easier than others. I mean take Seton Hall.... Xavier, Villanova, and then Marquette/St John's.

RE: Big East Tourney bracketology
so update for today-
7 Butler vs 10 Providence
8 Creighton vs 9 DePaul

1 Marquette vs Creighton/DePaul
4 Seton Hall vs 5 Xavier
2 Villanova vs Butler/Providence
3 St John's vs 6 Georgetown

For Butler it'd be pretty simple. Win vs Providence and Nova and in tourney.

For Seton Hall very interesting- would really hinge on these last 3 games going into the tourney.
