Georgia loses due to fans
In case anyone missed it Georgia in a tie game got hit with a technical foul with less than a second remaining due to fans throwing an object onto the court. Although the Mississippi State player was already at the FT line, it gave him 3 chances to make a single FT to win the game. He made 1 of the 3. Georgia loses. Ouch.

George Mason had an incident of fans throwing objects onto the court when they were here, I cannot remember if it cost them the game or not. Fans get engaged, but you can't be stupid.

RE: Georgia loses due to fans
He made 1 out of 3, but he intentionally missed the third one. One reason is that it makes the clock start immediately. Another reason is that Georgia couldn't get the ball far enough to attempt a two, so since Georgia was going to attempt a three (if any shot) and Mississippi State didn't foul, Mississippi State wouldn't have been any better off up 2 than up 1.
