So we start off slow to trail 32 points, then come back within 8 late 2nd half. Nothing makes sense anymore.

We squander a big second half lead, but hang on to win, Bobcats over UL by 2: 64-62.

AState sweeps a home doubleheader against Little Rock. Winning the Men's game 72-65, and most surprisingly winning the Women's game 62-58, putting Troy and UTA back in the Women's title race.

That was nice today, but much closer than it needed to be. Now we need to be a Road Warriors and close out the season.

Crazy call in the LR-ASU game. ASU player (I think Eaton) slips and falls awkwardly (almost does a split) while trying to inbound the ball. Ball trickles away from him onto the court. Looks like he could have hurt himself falling, but I think he was fine. Ref blows the whistle and lets Eaton throw it in again. If this was Peewee ball, I might have done the same thing. But it DI basketball. Eaton fell, may have hurt himself, and I felt bad for him. Still it was a violation and it should have been LR ball. Game was still somewhat in reach at the time, but likely wouldn't have made a difference.

TXST shattered it's regular season attendance record. 44,772 total. Had multiple top ten crowds this year. Tonight (4706) was our 5th best home crowd all-time.

The roof was leaking at the Holmes Center today due to the heavy rains. Every time the play was at one end, a staffer would towel off an area near the post since it was dripping. Literally did this all game.

GaSo scored 52 points at the leaky roof end in the first half.

Good win, Bobcats! UTA followed the same pattern. We were up by 18 in the second half, but had to go to double OT to beat a very tough ULM team. Hopefully, after your visit to UTA, you will be a number two seed in the tournament. I'd love for the two Texas schools to finish 1 & 2, but honestly, there's very little difference this year between the top 4 and the bottom 4. We were picked #11 before the season, but even as the current #4, we'll be very fortunate if we can edge the current numbers 9 and 11 from Alabama. The Belt is very solid this year.

Finally got around to watching the GSU/CCU game on ESPN+. Hey Coastal...we were being punked for internet right? why is Steph Curry hiding on your bench?

jokes aside, this unknown guy casually subbed in from CCU bench to score 29 points and 9 3-pointers


edit: I see that he has 8.3 points per game and this might have been an anomaly.....great....lucky us...
