Normally isn't that about what what a home team would reserve for an away team a few hour drive away?

A few rows behind the away team bench?

Yeah, that doesn’t seem too bad. Not like they have an enormous fan base in the first place. I doubt Toledo travels much better when we go East.

Yeah, I don't want to call this science, but schools have data on the number of tickets the away team needs based on history.

I think you're underestimating how far away these two teams are. They're at the opposite ends of Lake Erie, which is 240 miles long, but the drive is longer because you're going around the edge. It's a five-hour drive assuming you don't hit traffic in Cleveland and that there's no lake effect snow happening, which can add hours depending on how bad it is.

as a UT fan this loss sucks. the redeeming factor is as a MAC fan this game solidifies UB as an at large. gives them an additional quad 1 road win and minus an injury or unexpected season ending collapse UB should be in the field and seeded on the upper half of the bracket regardless of whether they win the MAC tourney. Cleveland looking very interesting. Strong possibility of Kent-Akron quarterfinal, UT-BG semi, and everyone other than UB fans cheering for them to be upset.

Plus taking off Friday at work for MACC at Ford Field or MAC Tournament is one thing, doing it for a 2-hr regular season BB game is another.

Makes sense to me.

Here again this is where CLE is a great location for the MAC Tourney because of its location which is good for most, but not all, MAC schools.

Makes a nice little trip for a few days.
