Kent State @ Western Michigan
The Flashes (officially) head to Kalamazoo for a big one on Thursday against the fresh off their first conference win of the season Broncos. Western Michigan was zero for 2019 before knocking off NIU last night.

As the race for a top 4 is coming to a close, this is a must win for the 6-4 Golden Flashes.

GO FLASHES!

RE: Kent State @ Western Michigan
Other big games (at least for Kent State fans) in the MAC this weekend include:

#25 Buffalo (9-2) @ Toledo (8-3)
If Buffalo can walk out of Sausage Hall with a victory, Toledo becomes less of a lock for a top 4 seed. Plus, a Buffalo loss would all but eliminate them from the top 25 for the remainder of the regular season and could force them to have to win the MAC Tournament to get their bid. Go Bulls

Akron (6-4) @ Ball State (4-7)
It would sure be nice if Ball State can drop a 5th loss on Akron.

Miami (5-6) @ Western Michigan (1-37)
Lets hope WMU doesn't get win 2 today. Lets also hope that they have enough leftover to all but eliminate Miami from the a top 4 contender.

Ohio (3-8) @ Central Michigan (5-6)
Central Michigan is in a similar position to Miami...hanging around. So lets hope our friends from Athens can hang a 7th L on the Chips

Of course, KSU plays Eastern Michigan. The Eagles, who are two games under five hundred, have not yet announced if they will play will everyone on their roster out of concern for presenting a tough matchup for Kent State.

the zippys lost to Bufs on Tues. so loss number 5 is already in the books.

Doesn’t seem to matter. This one is over. Nice job responding to a strange roadie, albeit against the Broncos.

Nice games by Roberts and Peterson. Needed them to someone to set up with Avery out and they did. Nice to see Walker bounce back with a solid shooting game.

Feel a little bad for WMU. They get two days to prepare for a 17-6 team who had 6 days to prepare and was angry coming off a bad loss. Hopefully we handle our quick turnaround against EMU better than they did.

Nice win especially without Avery. A close game might not have gone so well tonight. The blowout was nice. The time of the game sure killed the crowd and took away a lot of the home team advantage. Bring on EMU.

Mitch had a very nice game. It was probably his best since being at Kent State. When we are good, we are very good. When we are bad, we are as bad as anyone. I counted 45 spectators.
