I live in SF. There are lots of otherwise intelligent people here who agree with her on many of the issues. They don't care that 'you can't get there from here'... they feel the value is in the fight and don't care that it's a pipe dream.

No way it EVER gets to SF

Best they can hope for is a fast train from Bakersfield to the edge of Bart near Pleasanton (now anyway)... and no way a high speed train could run on Bart tracks. Mag Lev or something someday maybe
