I’ll be honest, Chase Brice thinks he’s way too good for JMU after getting some garbage time at Clemson.

My post was mostly in jest, but my point is there is talent out there if CC does not think our current crew can do it. Personally I think Gage will get the job.

Right after he sent this, Chazz Wallace tweeted that he's decommitting from Temple. 3-star DT. 6'2", 280lbs. He originally committed back in June. It could be a coincidence, but who knows?

I guess we all can feel confident that Cignetti is locked in for next year. He may turn out to be a long term hire given his age. He is experienced enough to know FBS football is not all it is cracked up to be. His options are going to be to turn around struggling programs rather than stepping into another JMU situation. Withers and Houston both have learned it is a lot easier to coach a winner than to turn around a loser.

We are going to learn a lot about Cigs ability to recruit with this next class. Does he reload or rebuild?

It’s not JMU recruiting related, but former JMU WR Ezra Archie transferred to Monmouth.

Anyone know why he transferred? He played in 2018. Did he get recruited over?

It seemed like that Archie could not stay healthy and then dropped on the depth chart. It is unfortunate but it seems like injuries really set him back and then he got out-worked, etc.....in practice.

I wish him the best, but don't see this as a big loss for JMU b/c he was never an impact this past season.

I don't think it's a big loss for JMU given our depth, but I do think it's a great pick-up for Monmouth, assuming he can be healthy enough to get on the field.

Agree, think this has the potential to be a win-win for all parties involved.

I would love to see us go after this kid. He's already used his redshirt and has three years left. He's got a bunch of potential and could tear it up at the FCS level.
