The floors great, with the exception of the logo mid court. Majority of NMSU fans would prefer the pistol pete logo. The current one is an academic logo and put on there to placate the small PC crowd at NMSU, that has become non existent for over the last dozen years.
Here's a look at a classic game. I like the floor there. Not todays, but not radically different either. I forgot how fun the Big West with UNLV and the towel chewing Tark!

GCU in a free fall.
GCU had its mojo going until UTRGV surprised them. When NMSU flexed its muscle in PHX last week, GCU fully lost its mojo. Now they're not playing with the same confidence. It looks like the loss of Gerard Martin really effected their play.

This is Chicago's chance! Playing at home, still winless in the WAC, GCU on a bad streak. They'll be geared up.

I was able to watch some of the UVU vs NMSU game last night on Fox Sports West (Prime Ticket) and the Aggies looked good. I thought the ball movement was really good. They are getting better as the season progresses, which is the sign of good coaching. Holding Jake Toolson to six points on 2 of 9 shooting was huge.
That was a bad loss for GCU, but a great game for Michael Finke and a good game for Lever. Finke with 36 points, nine rebounds and five assists. I don't know where that game came from. Lever had 20 points and six rebounds. GCU dominated the boards at 46-30, which could be a good sign for the tournament for GCU. On the other hand, shooting 6 for 26 on three point shots is not going to beat many WAC teams.

Looks like a tough battle for second place. I have no idea who’s going to earn the 2 seed.

Second place is the first looser...no reason to think the Aggies don’t continue their run...should be fun regardless!

I say UTRGV has the hottest hand going and will finish in second, probably alone. As far As the conference tourney goes, I don't know... I hope it's the Aggies, but who knows who will be on a streak then. But the Vaqs look awfully good lately. Either way, they are looking at a 20+ win season possibly, and I wouldn't have predicted that.
I think the Aggies win it, just don't know who will make the final with them.

Well, first let's see if we can past UVU tonight. They beat us by 21 points in Orem.

If we could just stop going into 10+ point deficits in the first half then I would feel a lot better going into the conference tourney.
We haven't beaten uvu since 2012. If we're going to beat them then this is the best chance at home on a hot streak.

I just took a peek at scores: UMKC up by 12 at the half over Bakersfield ??
Roos beat the Lopes in OT on Thursday and are leading Bake tonight.
Are we witnessing the precise moment when the Kangaroos become a legit beast in the WAC?
Got to like that "100 day" plan of the AD.

From what I watched of it RGV, they didn't look especially good against UVU. Maybe I just don't like their style of play? Not sure. UVU looks more "together" especially in offense.
UMKC played pretty well tonight i thought.
NMSU playing like garbage versus Seattle in the first half. Hopefully they get it turned around.

Hadn't seen UVU up close in a while. Generally bigger than us but still fast. Our first half was OK but then it started to fall apart.

The Aggies finally got it together and at least pulled out a W-- but it sure wasn't easy. I don't think i saw Seattle at full strength earlier in the season, but they played hard tonight. (I'm not sure I WANT to see them at full strength, as an Aggie fan lol)

RE: WAC basketball week 15
Jans saw how SU outscored NMSU with Myles Carter on the floor game 1, and took him out of this game completely. Morgan Means still a liability and did nothing. Questionable calls both ways but wow Myles Carter, disagree with 3 of them
Redhawks were a one man team of (SU's) Terrell Brown. Way closer than I expected. As the NMSU announcers kept saying, when healthy this team is dangerous.
Good come back by NMSU but that was a short handed team. All signs point to next week still being the one where everyone is back. Just three guys still out, Kavas (shin, will be back) Jones (knee, expected) and Trey Hopkins (flu, expected).
SU will play 5 of last 6 at home, including GCU, CSUB, UMKC, and UVU.
NMSU avoids upset but that's not a healthy SU team, not a feel good win for NMSU

We also play horribly for the pack the Pan Am games. Glad we got that one off night out of the way. Could very well have resulted in a loss in front of 11k fans....

I was at the first pack the pan am and it was vs. Chicago St. Last game of the season and senior night. We won by four.
