I can't remember if it was was Van Excel or Maxiel (I think it was Jason) but I remember reading that one of them went back to get their degree during the off season after they made the NBA. Ir just sticks with me it was one of those guys from Texas.

max had some distinction of being the last first round pick who graduated or something. not sure if that's still the case
