Refs are trying to ruin an entertaining game between the Apps and Bobcats. I feel bad for the players on both sides, because you have no idea what's coming with each whistle.

Bobcats get the 3 point win over the Apps. Nice game Apps, y'all were not an easy out this year. I believe that the last minute took 15 to play . . . at least it felt like it.

Apps missed a 3 point attempt to tie at the buzzer.

South Alabama moved to 5-5 in conference. I am liking what I am seeing out of this team lately, despite our thin bench. If we had depth this year we might be in a position to be a dark horse right now. We've played some games with as few as 6 players this year. The overtime loss to Georgia Southern had 2 players play all 45 minutes and 2 others log 40+ minutes because Roderick Sikes rolled his ankle and went out in the first half.

Then you have our losses. Little Rock beat us handily at Little Rock. Otherwise, the games have been close:

Lost by 1 at Arkansas State.
Lost by 2 to Georgia Southern at home in Overtime.
Lost by 3 to Georgia State at home.
Lost by 4 at Louisiana.

I'm curious to see how we look against Little Rock on Saturday, and I'm glad Coach Riley is sparking my Jaguar basketball program. I've missed it!

Pretty much how I felt all night, no idea what they were going to call when the whistle blew, and worst of all the call usually came from the ref furthest from the play...

That being said, App is way better than their record and they had a lot of fans in San Marcos tonight. Not sure if this is just the road trip they decided to take or if there are a lot of alumni in Central Texas but a pretty good traveling crew if you ask me.

Texas State is way ahead of the pace to break the program's single season attendance record. 4517 tonight despite coming off two straight losses. Last Saturday's program record-attendance will probably be in jeopardy this coming saturday against coastal. It'll be Kaspar jacket/'stache night for us. I expect we will bring a very very hostile crowd.

At the end of the season, Phil Cunningham better be kicked hard to the curb. A lot of Troy fans are going to be angry at the AD if not. This fool is killing Troy basketball.

I saw our little App section on the broadcast and thought it was pretty respectable. I know there is an alumni group in Austin & North Texas, so good for the Apps!

App has lost 6 games by 4 points or less.

Between Shabazz, Forrest, Isaac Johnson, the other Johnson, and the size in the frontcourt with two 6'9" guys starting it's hard to believe App's record is so bad. They're one of those teams that looks good getting off the bus (to steal a football term), but just don't win.
