February 2, 2019 Hosting Hofstra
You're favored by 2.5 with an over/under of 147.5. Hofstra has won against the spread with the score being over the over/under in their last 4 games. You have won 6 of your last 7 against the spread, and 5 of their last 6 were over. You have been favored 12 times. You lost against the spread in 5 of the first 6 and won against the spread in 5 of the last 6. The game in Hempstead had 147 to be under 150.5. That was the second highest over/under for you, with the highest being 153 hosting Drexel, when you won 93-83 to make 176.
https://static.caasports.com/custompages...m#team.ind has Hofstra's statistics. Hofstra has made 155 more free throws than their opponents. Last season, Charleston led the CAA in free throws made differential at +83.

Shawn Occeus, who had started the last 7 games, isn't starting. Jordan Roland is starting. Hofstra is starting sub forward Dan Dwyer. Jacquil Taylor, who averages 7.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and shoots .673, isn't starting. I don't know why. Dwyer averages 2.6 points and 3.1 rebounds. He has made two-thirds of his field goals, but he rarely shoots, with only 1.3 attempt per game. Dwyer averages 0.6 blocks, which is good for a guy averaging 15.5 minutes.
http://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=235608 has statistics.
Edit: The announcers say Occeus has a short-term injury. He has 8 blocks, and half were at Hofstra.

No Occeus. Off game by Roland. No show by Green. We still win?

You had the largest margin of victory over Hofstra since UNCW won 90-70 hosting Hofstra on February 10, 2018. Pusica had a great game and led all scorers with 24. Wright-Foreman, Pemberton, and Coburn, who are three of Hofstra's top four scorers, combined to shoot field goals 9-for-31. Desure Buie, who was averaging over 5 assists didn't have any. He made 9 of 12 field goals and scored a career-high 22. Hofstra didn't have any assists by a guard, and nobody on either team had more than 2 assists! It was the first time nobody on either team in a Hofstra game had more than 2 assists since 201 games ago.

Heartbreaker last second loss at your place. Easy win here. Looking forward to a rematch at a neutral site.

Do you think just a few times Evan J you can give your opinion about a game or player without over saturated statistics? Just give your opinion once and awhile.
Saturday was a much needed win, but it doesn’t mean anything if we don’t win our next two home games.
I feel very confident against Hofstra, and to thump them without Occeus was huge.
