i think they've also talked to Yanni Wetzel who is a big center who is transferring from Vandy, 7ft'r. Think he's kind of in the Nysier Brooks situation. 1 year left, but would have to get a waiver for immediate eligibility.

Yeah I don't know anything about the recruitment of local star Jaxson Hayes who went to Texas but he showed offers from about everybody in the region except us. Was Mick's sequence to not offer if a kid didn't show interest to visit? To me I like to see our name out there on the offer lists.
Hugley looks like he will be a big time target for everyone but at least it appears like we are trying to get a foot in the door. Interesting glancing at Hugley's twitter he retweeted the stories about the Prater brothers this week. So he does notice some of the happenings in Bearcatland.

I don't know this for certain, but Evan Prater i understand played pretty well in AAU ball so he likely may have played against or with this kid given he's in state. It's kind of flown under the radar that Prater's a pretty solid bball prospect. I think Hugley is a kid who's lost a lot of weight. I think at one time he was over 300lbs.
It's interesting to your point about Cronin offering. He shows on Rivals as a Cincinnati offer, but it also shows he took visits in the fall. Clearly he's picked up steam. Fortston like body.

Mick didnt think he could get certain kids so he didn't “waste his time” going after them. He was a self fulfilling prophecy in recruiting.

NY PF Zed Key seems interested in UC. Not highly rated (yet), but claims a few good offers and some quality interest:
