Keith McLeod from Canton McKinley and BG. You can do that, run various players at an opponent, only if you have several players who can defend that player. When I was in high school and we were playing a team with a great scorer we would often play a "diamond and one" defense or a "box and one". If it was a low post player sometimes a "triangle and two".

I loved those battles between us and BG. The BG coach had a break down due to our KSU team. He had a very good team during any other year.

It took Walker not scoring in the final 16 minutes (!) and no-shows by Williams and others to win. The guy who is killing us right now is Pippen. I’ve heard from two separate individuals that he could be playing but refuses. Must be getting some bad advice. That would explain why he is no longer on the bench.
I don't know anything about Pippen's situation but I do know it was reported he had micro fracture surgery. If he wants to have a career after college then taking it slow is smart. Ask Greg Oden (or countless other NBA players that were never the same again) what it's like coming back from that. Doctors don't even recommend that surgery for NBA players anymore.
From what I've heard, both statements are accurate ... here's hoping DP is working on his post-up game twice as hard as his jump shot.
IN MY EYES HE STILL HAS AN AWFUL LOT TO PROVE ... starting with consistency.

CJ Williamson got his fourth foul with 7:36 left. Antonio Williams picked up his fourth at 9:08 left, and his fifth at 2:18. These two were a big part of the full-court pressure we used in a few of the games to come back from late deficits. We were tied at 73-73 with 5:22 left. With those guys laying off so they wouldn't foul out, we couldn't put that defensive pressure on late.
Walker played all 40 minutes; Maybe a break would have helped him. He only took 4 shots over the last 16 minutes and missed them all.
But if you think about it - if we were playing any other team in the top 25, keeping it close up to 5 minutes left would be at least a partial success.
