Had not heard of that blog before...interesting stuff.

I noticed our attendance was nearly 30K higher than the ACC on average, but that the ACC was only 19K ahead of the American.

I also like his idea of a blended AAC and Mountain West. If there's ever to be a challenger to the P5 hegemony then it would have to come from a cross-continental league like that.

I just appreciated that he had a methodology besides taking one statistic from 1 year to make an illustration that would be biased to a preconceived notion. This guy averaged all of the data for 5 years before making assumptions. I think he should have used total revenue, but you can't have everything.

The TV drawing ability of the Big 12 and SEC are very synergistic. No doubt that F.S.U. and Clemson would be as well. But the assimilation of the top Big 12 product into the SEC would only enhance all concerned.

As long as we recognize the Top product is OU and KU and only get them and not waste valuable slots on redundant and unnecessary political tag alongs or conference killing cancer as those two factors are what’s keeping the B12 down

Agree here. Texas is valuable but I don’t think they’d conform to the conference’s “SEC-ness.” There’s a lot of hatred between schools but share that thing that makes them bonded together. Texas won’t buy into that.
