Sorry to hear this. He was one of the few level headed Cardinal posters back in the days when they were in CUSA. RIP ole buddy...

Sad news. He was certainly a diehard fan of his team.

RE: Wilkie is gone.
The thing about Wilkie is that he loved his original conference brothers. During the initial realignment moves from CUSA to the BigEast a small group of us shared offline emails to keep up with the developing stories. UL was always seemingly assured a spot in the BigEast...but he shared scoop from his end about what he was hearing about USF, UC and other candidates chances. Most of his stuff was spot on, as his early info that Jurich was a big supporter of USF was proven to be true. Since then there had been regular emails as well about behind the scenes stuff. Good board member and will be missed.

Thought I would share.

I liked Wilkie. He was a funny guy even back in the day when I use to troll the Big East boards.

Most of us are guilty of stirring things up. He was a great guy who like a little fun on the board. Many of us go back 15+ years...it is a big community of rival fans under one board. I never met Wilkie in person but interacted with him via PM. He will be missed. RIP

He was pretty much the only likable Louisville fan on CSNBBS (and in real life). Big loss. RIP, my man.
