I think he was considered a good coach. Healy had his own guy whom he brought with him, so Durning needed to find a new home. I suspect you will be happy.

Yeah - I always had a perception that he was a good coach, and we seemed to do fine in S&C. Glad to see he's landing on his feet.

Cmon Charlotte people....since he's going to another CUSA school you're suppose to say how bad he was, how terrible the athletes turned out

just kidding, since he was already out of a job that's the reason we got him as there's little chance we could straight up take another coach/staff member in a lateral move.

I heard he thinks that if you can dodge a wrench...you can dodge a ball.

^Hopefully not their OC or OL coach. They only averaged 21 ppg.

This guy did an incredible job at Charlotte. Took a bunch of kids with no offers/walk ons and turned them into very good players. Y'all will be very pleased.

I feel like he did a solid job at Charlotte, at the end of the day it really comes down how much effort a kid wants to put in.

Durning played for Marshall and is a great guy and was a hell of a player. Ive heard people say players would run though a wall for Coach Durning.
