I'm not exactly sure, but I think they were played at Louisville Manual Stadium. I do know that Johnny Unitas played games there while playing for U of L. And I am pretty sure that a Florida State team featuring Lee Corso and Burt Reynolds played against U of L in that stadium. So Manual Stadium was home to the football Cards for some time.
Manual High School is one of the oldest high schools in the state of Kentucky. It's campus is right next door to the University of Louisville, and it's stadium is a few miles away off Eastern Parkway which connects the area around the University of Louisville with the Highlands part of Louisville (a thriving, bar and restaurant part of Louisville. Also where Bellarmine University is located). Here's more info on Manual High, if interested: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DuPont_Manual_High_School
Manual Stadium is used as a neutral site for many high school games, and is bigger than most regular high school stadiums in town.

Yes, DuPont Manual after it opened in 1952, but before that it was the old Parkway Field.

Yes, Louisville played at Manual Stadium prior to Old Cardinal Stadium. Here's a current day photo of the stadium:
Here's an old photo of the stadium. It used to be horseshoe-shaped.
