The newspeak is so informative.
That's not a look into the "process".
Actually, I was able to find some nice bits of information sprinkled throughout the fluff, like:
"moving forward... you will not see any specific weeks, including week one, where we have more than four FCS games in a given week."
"we [the ACC] have minimum game requirements on a weekly basis"
"We do have well-laid out parameters... no more than two conference road games may be scheduled consecutively by the conference office and no more than three home conference games consecutively."
"Our goal is to involve as many of our schools as possible because those specialty [Thu/Fri] games are opportunities for national exposure and guaranteed night games."
"we really focused on what was the best scheduling alignment for ACC football – eight (league) games versus nine games … divisional alignment"
"a combined 10 Thursday and Friday night games that we needed to fill, that obviously works out to more than one appearance per school on average."
"schools that host a Thursday or the Monday night game, that takes them out of the mix for hosting another non-Saturday game. The only exception... is Thanksgiving Friday."
"we will do our best in the following year to make sure that school [with 3 non-Saturday games, like UVA has] makes more no more than one non-Saturday appearance..."
