CBU @ Cougars
Well, Chicago State is back at home for only the fourth time this year. *If* they only allow 7 or less threes, then I like their chances of winning. I say Chicago State by 12.

Tough loss. Not sure what CSU was thinking during the last 11 seconds. They looked a bit confused and had to settle for a forced 3-pointer.

I believe that was their designed play. Run Bell off a screen to shoot a three. Their possession before that is what frustrates me.. which ultimately led to the game-winning three by CBU.
Stats weren’t working but my guess is CBU had 9 or 10 threes.

11 threes to be exact compared to CSU’s 4. Chicago State had less turnovers and shot the ball better. Ultimately, the discrepancy in 3’s made did them in.

RE: CBU @ Cougars
I will say that the Cougars look much better this year than in years past. It seems like Coach Irvin is doing a great job. Hopefully a better product on the floor may also lead to more butts in the seats. The Jones Convention Center seemed almost empty and it seemed like a good contingent of the people there were cheering on CBU.
It is going to be a very different experience for the players and Coach Irvin on Thursday when they play the Lopes. It will be the first WAC game where the students are back in full force.
