Part of this is due to ODU having only played 2 conference games, while others have played 3 already. Thank you for making this thread though. It will be interesting to see how things shake out this season. I think that this pod system will really help up the stakes in the middle of the conference season, and should help get fan participation more involved (even for those that aren't in the #1-3 spots).

Thanks for putting this together. If you are planning to update this weekly can you preserve the weeks so we can see how the pod impacts the Net scoring of each team?

I can picture the meltdown on our boards if we finish pod 2, but that might certainly be on the table with adjusting the new guys stepping up due to the recent injury. Need to throw them to the fire so they are ready for CUSAT time.

Marshall has only played 2 also. And won't play again until Saturday. The loss of Bennett with a broken foot has forced Dan to play Kinsey at the 4 spot (where Mike told him he needed to be before the season started). Kinsey like West is a bulldog on defense. I think when Kinsey learns how to defend the 4 more he will be a monster with a 42" vertical. He blocked a shot at Charlotte I didn't think he had a shot at.

I would maybe just update the original post and copy/paste your first one and put the Weekly Date and update. That way at the end of the season we can put it into a spreadsheet or see if the pod system really helped at all or not having those weekly snapshots of NET ranking.

Again, great initiative to get that going. I would have been curious how it impacted things.

Recommend putting the conference record instead of (or with) the overall record since that's what dictates the order. Thanks for putting it together.

Our board will rightfully meltdown if we can't finish in the top 5. It's not going to happen barring some major turmoil.

So pod assignment is determined by conference record only? I don't know if I like that. The entire body of work should be considered
