403 days left till September 12, 2020 kickoff and the inaugural game at Hancock Whitney Stadium against the Jackson State Tigers. AD Joel Erdmann announced that the stadium is half completed. The construction crews are working 7-day weeks, but the weather is currently not cooperating.
Drove by a few weeks in town and was really impressed. That's going to be super convenient for all of the students to get to. I'm curious to see what the parking plans are.

Park all over campus, walk to the stadium or take the Jag Tran.

There are about 7000 parking spaces on campus. JagTran is available.
The closest lots to the stadium (red lots) are $150/yr. Of the available 1389 red spaces, a little over 1000 are already sold.

I was lucky enough to land one in red lot right across John Counts Rd. behind east stands.

Jag Train?
I would have to give it to them if they had that transit system. 10/10 would ride.

Thanks anyway, Troy, but we're doing just fine with the current trans system.
I think the plan was getting all the day to day things done before stadium. We only started football 10 years ago. We had to get outdoor practice fields, locker rooms, field house, weight room, indoor practice facility, etc... done first

And the school has done a wonderful job in getting it all done. South is very fortunate to have played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium for these first 10 years, but after 2019 it's time to move forward. Tickets (skyboxes, loge, chairbacks, benchbacks, bleachers and end zones) are moving rapidly the future looks bright. The other Sun Belt members are all working on improvements and that's a good thing.
