I’d like to see Len Elmore. Technically he played in the ACC.

Thank god Billy Packer is retired.

I bet Cory Alexander is one.

LaPhonso Ellis?

Len Elmore? Good Lord, Duke fans and others would be STRONGLY opposed to that Terps loyalist. He was the complete fanboy when broadcasting Maryland games. I know that Maryland is no longer in the conference but I haven’t forgotten.

I don’t understand why no one has mentioned the obvious — Jay Bilas, Jay Williams and Seth Greenberg.

I’ll mention another name that most of you have never heard of — Dave Harding. He’s a former Duke football player who’s now doing broadcasting on the Duke network. He’s very good and he’s an analyst, not a fan. I’m surprised he hasn’t already been scooped up by ESPN. You’re gonna like him even if you’re a Tar Heel fan.

I didn't mention those 3 guys along with Sean McDonough because they are already part of ESPN nationally. Moving to the ACC network full time would be a step-down. I tried to mention people that would be moving up or at least laterally. All great choices though if they'd consider it. I"m sure those 3 will be making many many appearances on the network in the future.

Since the ACC network will be run out of Bristol I’m not expecting it to have its own exclusive staff.

It’ll be interesting to see how they approach it. I assumed Bilas and those guys would stay at the national level and the ACC would be more like the SEC net.

Hallcity is probably correct as far as studio shows - they'll probably use a lot of ESPN guys from down the hall.

OTOH, each school will have its own studio, which lends itself to lots of smaller shows - but I doubt the schools hire any of these guys outright unless they're already on contract (e.g. "the voice of the ___"). I expect to see lots of students in front of the cameras too, not just behind them.
