So we did some digging, and came up with rankings for W&M MBB's top 5 buzzer beaters. The list dates back the last 4-5 seasons, and is filled with some incredibly memorable experiences.

For those who want a few more buzzer beaters...all in the same weekend...here is the official recap of that crazy 2008 CAA Tourney, with 3 buzzer beaters in 3 nights and W&M's first visit to the Tourney Finals.

That bucket by Kiselius to beat VCU ranks WAY up there for me, maybe at number 2. Comparing what we have done since to what transpired before, that bucket may rank as the turning point on our MBB history.

And yes it was against VCU! In the Coliseum!

And our poor, departed, gentle and loving terrier who was essentially deaf at this point would remember to his dying day the primal screen that I let yet win that bucket went in. (The sigh of relief when VCU missed a makeable three-point to win was palpable as well.)

Another "not" buzz-beater that I would include in a top 10 is the defensive stand against Towson in the semi's the day before that heart-breaker against Delaware. Seems like Towson had 8 jillion chances to rebound and put a game-winner in but it did not happen.

The only one of these shots I had the pleasure of witnessing in person was ranked #1. I can't disagree with the ranking.
