Hopefully, Tony's gamble pays off with full use of Nate and Paul in the 2nd half. Defense got us here. They need to continue the intensity in the opening 5 minutes after the break and see if Delaware will fold.

In fairness, for a large stretch of it we maintained a double digit lead. It was when we made some other subs that the lead dwindled.

I feel GREAT after that 1st half. Nate sitting. No points for Justin. And we have a 7 point lead. I've never seen this kind of defensive intensity before. It's a lot of fun to watch.

I wouldn't have believed that Nate and Justin contributing just two combined points we would be up by seven at half.

Stats are pretty even, except they are struggling from 3, 2 for 11.

Hopefully, having Pierce and Knight back for the second half will allow for us to pull away a bit.

We need someone who is willing to put pressure on a defense by driving to the basket. Without Nate posting up, our offense is basically doing a weave on the perimeter until we put up a 3 point shot (with the occasional back door cut sprinkled in). We need to create more higher percentage opportunities. I see no reason why Chase or LJ can't beat there defender off the dribble.

I'm happy with the defensive intensity this game. We need to keep Carter in check. He is a tough matchup with his polished post game.

Pierce with 0 pts and only 2 rebs. Got to have him playing at his level this half.

Need to up the intensity another notch to bring this home, and if they can get a quick 4th foul on Allen.

Rowley needs to make his mind up he is going all the way to the basket on those drives and body into Carter to get the fouls. It's there for him, but he hesitates to finish.
