So, you agree....it's a TECHNOLOGY problem, not a "markets" problem. 05-stirthepot

This is very true and Rural North LA is as barren a wasteland for internet service as the Sahara is for water.

Kentucky has the worst internet in the entire country, seriously sucks....I went to visit my wife's family in Buffalo Thanksgiving and ran their internet test and the numbers were unbelievable blazing fast, crazy how varied state to state internet services are......I barely can stream anything without interruptions and I have tried everything including switching to what I had thought would be a much better internet, so far its same as usual.....I live in Lexington and not in the middle of nowhere....

I can't do Netflix out in the country where I live. I am stuck with DirectTv. They have been good to me but not being able to see Tech games has really sucked.

Again.....this is a TECHNOLOGY problem, not a "Markets" problem. You can upgrade your technology, change service providers, or even MOVE. But the problem is not "markets".

Mostly true. However New York and Los Angeles are the two largest markets in the US and nobody gives a crap about college football in either unless USC is undefeated late in the season or the Rose Bowl is on. I don't think any of the schools in larger markets are to blame if they under perform from a media perspective. Its so hard to compete with Florida State, Florida, UNC, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee in the big city. It gets even harder when the second tier schools like NC State, Duke, South Florida, Central Florida, Houston, TCU, Vanderbilt and Texas Tech are next in line for eyeballs. Usually a strong point for schools like Southern Miss and Marshall (Tech under performs here) is that being a rural school means that there is less competition from anything on a Saturday except hunting.

I was just referencing for over all market share purposes. CUSA teams in large markets have to contend with those big guys for attention. It wasn't sport specific

Agreed. We dominate our market. We are the NFL team of our market.

Also, when we play away, I sometimes watch the game on my phone while sitting in my treestand. 04-cheers
