CWB - SU vs WVU Viewer Numbers Announced
The Orlando Camping World Bowl total number of viewers was 4.828 million which is the third best since 2013. The two games ahead of it were the 2013 Louisville/Miami game with 5.75 million viewers and the 2014 Clemson/Oklahoma game with 4.90 million viewers. Don't have any data prior to 2013 since we weren't in a league that was associated with that bowl game.

Syracuse (along with WVU) still holds the most viewed Pinstripe Bowl ever with 5.1 million viewers for that game in 2012 with the second best being the 2013 Notre Dame/Rutgers with 4.84 million viewers. Since the bowl became an ACC/Big Ten bowl the two most viewed games have been the 2017 BC/Iowa game with 4.008 million viewers and the 2014 BC/PSU game with 3.96 million viewers.

Lastly, believe it or not, SU's 2013 Texas Bowl against Minnesota (which was our first bowl game as an ACC member) is actually third best since 2013 with 3.990 million viewers trailing the 2014 Texas/Arkansas game with 5.76 million viewers and the 2015 LSU/TTU game with 4.958 million viewers. The three games we are ahead of are 2016 KSU/TAMU game with 3.791 million viewers, 2017 Texas/Mizzou game with 3.455 million viewers, and this year's Baylor/Vandy game with 3.343 million viewers.

Happy New Year INDEED!!!

Cheers,
Neil

Why doesn’t WVU renew this rivalry?? I believe ‘ Cuse is open to the idea, but it is WVU who is being ridiculous on this one. And they say VT is ducking them!! They have been ducking ‘Cuse!!

It would be great to have WVU regularly as an OOC opponent. Looking at their future schedules, though, they have Maryland twice, Virginia Tech twice, Penn State twice and Pittsburgh four times through 2025. Those schools were all regular opponents for WVU over the years as well. Can't play everybody, but hope we can schedule some games in the future.

They have more important issues right now-->new coach

I'd like to play WVU semi-regularly but not every year. Maybe 4 times every 10 years.
Their fans are trashy but they do travel well.

When you only have three OOC games you have to schedule them in part for recruiting purposes unless you are a handful of programs.
