I'd say this is a pretty decent guess as to how things will shake out. Getting into the Top 6 is crucial, so despite how poorly we've played of late, I suppose it ought to be a little comforting that, per the numbers, we firmly look better than Drexel, Towson and Elon and about as good as W&M and JMU.

We finished 6th last year, and this team should be at least 1-2 spots better with the talent we have. The goal every year should be to win the CAA tournament. On that basis, I cannot see that happening. Something major has to happen with our defense. We are giving up records on a regular basis now. If we're going to zone twice and press three times during a game, it's not enough.

Geez, let's stop SOMETHING on defense. Our best defensive stat is #226 in the nation in opponents 3 pt. % and we're #128 in defensive rebounds(Cacok).

We don't cause turnovers, we don't steal the ball, we can't stop the three, we can't stop the two, we're bad in the first half, bad in the 2nd half. Sorry folks, these look exactly like the Benny and Buzz years. But, I guess if the players just gave more effort these numbers would all be different...
