In the first half, AU shot eleven free throws to UAB's none. If there was anything approaching fair officiating we would have won without overtime.

& I don't believe we played over our heads in the game.

There were lots of unforced turnovers that didn't help either.

I saw where some barners were bitching about us slowing down the game.

Kind of hard to do that with a 30 second shot clock.

If the barners wanted to shoot the ball within 5 seconds they could have.

We actually played pretty good D. Yea it broke down and they scored some but everyone does. It’s not like there are shut outs in basketball.

We couldn't handle the screen up top for Harper the last 10 or 15 minutes of the game but if he is pushing off here or there and/or traveling & it isn't called it makes it even more difficult.

A call or two against him & they would have stopped running it every time.

I was a little surprised that Ehsan didn't try the zone some but then again we played pretty good man to man D throughout.

We’ve played pretty solid defense all year in my opinion. There will always be breakdowns over the course of a 40 minute game, but it is much better than anything we have seen in recent years.

Auburn fans can ***** about us slowing the game down all they want. If we had 20 more possessions and the whistles kept coming at the same rate, we would’ve had 4 or 5 guys foul out most likely. A coach is paid to win games, and sometimes the best way to go about doing that is junking a game up. Ehsan did what he thought was best for his team, and he was obviously correct.

Another thing to note - Sullivan couldn't hit the side of a barn most of the night. He did have a big 3 towards the end of regulation though.

Sullivan was 5 for 10 on the night. 50% is pretty good barn hitting

Layups and putbacks probably accounted for probably 4 of those. The other outside shots weren't close. Seemed like he was off.

Just going from memory.

He was obviously a big part of the offensive plays by getting the ball at the top of the key early on in the possessions.
