I don't think explaining comments is crazy overreaction but whatever you wanna say.

Snobbish?03-lmfao Just like Ragu Sauce, guess you've never been to a USM game in H'burg. We are some of the friendliest and accommodating fans in Division 1.

Unlike some folks, however, we understand how sh!tty we are right now, yet we persevere, not because of the PAST, but because of the FUTURE.

Yet, we are proud of our PAST, and we understand some folks don't like it BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO PAST. That's not our fault. We also understand ONE GOOD YEAR does not make you Bama or Notre Dame. That's not our fault either.04-cheers

Much of the back-and-forth with FAU is just good-natured normal, typical fan inter-action. I'm sure the FAU fans love their team just as we do, and no one should take it so personally.......

But just wait til you see their reaction to this....the Atomic blast at Bikini Atoll looks like a firecracker in comparison..03-lmfao

It works both ways though, eager. I don’t care about your past. Your past didn’t help you when we kicked your arse in Hattiesburg in 2016 and your past wasn’t on the field in Charlotte this year.

You are right that one good year doesn’t make you Alabama. But a few good seasons two decades ago doesn’t make you Alabama either

I respect all the teams in the conference. Your fanbase on here as a whole are the biggest blowhards by a wide margin. I do like some of them still but the people like you far outweigh the small minority

We were talking about past results. Weren't braggng about killing you. We were down too btw. That was 2013. We weren't good. We had a 1-11 and 3 straight 3-9 years. Didn't stop people from bragging about owning us then ( see middle Tennessee guys on here )

One guy bragged about hiring your D.C. It was more that we could take him rather than being pumped about the actual hire. He's gone now. Charlottes DC from last season is his replacement

Charlotte demands more but we don't? Whatever you say..

Never mind that we swept cusa just last year in winning the conference. Had to replace both coordinators and when one didn't work out we fired him along with the wr coach. But again have fun in your own little world

"1 guy bragged"... you guys only have like 2-3 fans on this board.

RE: 2019 football crossover games announced
USM had 19 straight winning seasons in a row NOT TOO LONG AGO...teams like FAU are lucky to have 2.

USM has won more games against the SEC than all teams combined in CUSA...

USM has defeated more top 25 teams than all schools combined in C-USA...

I could go on and on but not enough space or time...

Now, does any of that figure in whether we win or lose when we put on the black & gold next September for another season of Golden Eagle football? Of course not..

BUT....to our former players, alumni and fans, it is indeed a source of PRIDE, as it would be any team IF YOU ACTUALLY HAD ANY HISTORY TO BE PROUD OF...

The idea that we are some kind of broken-down, washed-up program is ludicrous...we have just gone through one of the few down periods in our history....and if some of you wanna write us off (just wishful thinking 04-cheers), go ahead much to your own detriment.

Charlotte is 2-2 versus USM. That is way better than ECU.

When do we expect the 2019 conference game dates to be released? I think it was released around January 20th last year.

I dont know, but the wife and I are trying to plan out our road trips for the year and we really need to get that schedule to see which games we can hit.

Imagine talking about a school you're 28-6 against all time. We may be down right now but we will never USM basketball down 07-coffee3

You guys are more than welcome to interview our OC when USM comes to town.

I'm glad we have traded Charlotte for FAU. Charlotte has our # and FAU appears to be a easy W these days.

You had one more win... Florida Atlantic lost by 1 score in 4 of their 5 cusa losses. Easy win my butt

Don’t give the trolls attention.

So 28-6 all-time in Men's Basketball with SoMiss and .500 all-time in football. Interesting.

We play a local college UIW our first OOC game. Should be 40k +, then we play at Baylor, then Army plays us at the Alamodome, should be another 40k+ game, then we travel to Texas A&M. Very tough OOC schedule, like always. So we probably go 1-3. But get great attendance & $.
