Men's basketball heads to Syracuse for a mid week game against a very good team. Bringing back everyone from their sweet 16 team from a season ago, Syracuse started the year ranked fairly high. They lost a couple games and fell out of the rankings but will probably find their way into the top 25 by the end of the season.

Vegas has us as 12 point underdogs. Kenpom has us as slighting bigger underdogs than that (they have Cuse at #19 in the country, NU at #78).

This is another chance at a statement game. Again, unfortunate about all our injuries. It's assumed Puscia and Boursiqout are out for this one, but how about Brace and Occeus? Hopefully they'll be ready. We'll need all we can get for this one.

If we were healthy I’d say we’d have a great shot to win if we hit from beyond the arc, but we’re not, so I can’t see us winning tonight.

Coen told the Herald that Occeus could play tonight but that a return against Oakland on Saturday was more likely.

Looks like the game will be on Watch ESPN for anyone who wants to watch and has a cable subscription.

Been reading a few previews for this game and a lot of focus seems to be on Roland and his shooting. In our last two games I'd say it's been Gresham who has been our best player. Finding his groove filling in for Pusica as the primary playmaker.

Green gets a couple good looks early but good blocks but the Orange's big man. We looked outmatched real early but now it's close again after a couple 3's.

Like Alabama, Cuse is not a great shooting team. Hoping to take advantage

Cuse up 21-17. We are getting some good shots, just missing. Too many turnovers but Cuse is very athletic, we will just have to expect some.

35-23 Syracuse with a 9-0 to close the half. We dont look good on offense, and the Orange are getting a lot of rebounds.

Not like we expected to win this game but hope we can show more in the 2nd half.

Didnt end up being able to watch the 2nd half, but looks like it only got worse. Syracuse were athletic

NU missed shots, some where good looks. But Syracuse played great defense like they did against Ohio State.

Again, if Vasa and Occeus are healthy it’s a much better game by us.

Move on to Oakland. Hopefully Occeus comes back Saturday.

The only thing I can guess it’s maybe Bolden Brace’s back? He played but he wasn’t himself.
