If I were them, this would be my list:

1. Mark Spier (not sexy from a W-L perspective, but he's done a good job at WCU where it's pretty hard to win).

2. Curt Cignetti (great turn-around at Elon, made the playoffs 2 straight years, Nick Saban understudy)

3. Brian Bohannon (heads would explode in Statesboro)

4. Nate Woody (retain as much as the old staff as you can, I think you're guaranteed one more really good season, but long term it's a risk)

Not sure App wants to go to a pro-style type offense back in the I-formation like they did prior to the spread days.

That's what they'd get with Cignetti.

Yes if they got Bohannon and Chestnut as OC then there'd be lots of talks about App needing to get Georgia Southern guys to continue their success.

None of these.

Ruffin is going to get a look if interest is mutual. He might be in it just for the fact we got ECU scheduled.

Haven’t really thought about candidates with no ties to the program. As of now hoping for Brown or Woody, but I know there are a lot of great candidates out there and our AD will get the right guy.

We have some suggestions— haha

Blake Anderson would be a good choice.

There's an assistant at UGA that's just itching to get back to being a head coach. Can't remember his name though.

Tim Horton, Bryan Brown, Ruffin McNeil, and Woody would be my short list.
