I’m shocked the App MTSU line hasn’t moved off 7. App has now lost four coaches included OC and DC. I don’t believe teams with interim coaches have faired well in bowl games. If you have interest in this one, get in now as the line will certainly move lower, I’d guess to -4 by game time.

I would imagine it is likely because Utah State lost 2 games both to teams that were ranked at the time (Michigan State, Boise) while North Texas lost to a very average LaTech team, a bipolar ODU and a fairly good UAB team. It would be good for CUSA if North Texas wins but I just don't feel it.

CUSA Bowl Picks.

New Mexico Bowl North Texas vs. Utah State - Utah State has the better resume.

New Orleans Bowl App. St. vs. MTSU - Tough pick, the losing the coach thing can cause a reverse affect.

Boca Raton Bowl UAB vs. NIU - The best CUSA team this season against a middle of the Mac Pac team, nod to the Blazers.

Gasparilla Bowl Marshall vs. USF - Very mediocre USF team against a fairly good Marshall team, leaning toward the Herd.

Bahamas Bowl Toledo vs. FIU -FIU has some slightly better wins, taking the Panthers over the Rockets.

Hawai’i Bowl Hawai’i vs. LaTech - Hawaii at home on the island would take a solid effort to win, this Bulldog team was very average this season, so I say the Rainbow Warriors prevail in paradise.
