Gasparilla Bowl
Hopefully this bowl can get upgraded to the ACC vs SEC or AAC soon.

Play it around Dec 27th/28th. It would be very suitable for a 6-8 win team.

Yes and then the Quick lane can go to the MWC and MAC

Perfect name for where it’s hosted. Classic. Never change it.

Absolute worst bowl possible for USF, save possibly for Birmingham (thank God we're not going back there this year).

But can't say we didn't 'earn' it. Our November was pathetic.

Oh dang... I hadn't realized until just now that my team is playing your team, quo vadis.

So, did you hear the story that our long snapper and your long snapper are brothers?

Problem is that it's in Raymond James, which also hosts both Bucs home games and the Outback Bowl. Post Christmas leads to the prospect of having the stadium play 2 bowl games and possibly a Bucs game all within 7 days of one another, making it unlikely that it will get a post-Christmas date until/unless it moves back to St. Pete (or the Rays new stadium).

That's a good story. I didn't know that. 07-coffee3
